“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Its quite funny to see this after yesterdays thread on NH letter.
If crowds don't go up and revenue doesn't increase we'll have to cut the cloth accordingly.

My ticket is £19. Stop at Herons to buy 1 Pepsi, 2 flavoured waters, 2 bags of wine gums and a pack of 5 fruit-tella sweets
I think it's maybe the same logic as Hudgell and spending the full salary cap, there's a bar, so you buy overpriced drinks and food. In both cases it's an option, not an obligation, you can always keep your money in your pocket if you can't really afford it and that's fair enough.
And in response to earlier in the thread, I'm one of those who reached the point of staying away and am back to being a passholder this year.

It can quite easily cost me £70 to go. We buy a family ticket at £50, and have to travel from South Yorkshire to attend. Even allowing for buying cheaper food/drinks, £70 isn't a massive over-estimate.

I see what you're saying, but I don't think that's how everyone is getting to the costs being mentioned, and surely as an out-of-towner you're one of the exceptions?
I fully appreciate the costs of travel for some, but with respect that's not something that I think the club can be held responsible for given that it's people's free choice as to where they live.
IMO the only matchday costs it is fair to hold the club in any way responsible for are the tickets themselves, everything else is ancillary/optional/of your own making. Yes, some tickets are overpriced, but I just think people are going over the top with how much so. I'd say that whilst it is by no means cheap, £50 for a family of 4 isn't [ithat[/i bad.

Last year was the first season at the KC I didn't get a season ticket, enough was finally enough. 2010 was probably the most miserable I've ever been watching Hull, it was a chore rather than a pleasure. The last game I went to last season was Crusaders at home, and even though we won it was just the same old problems but papering over the cracks against a poor side.

I don't think £50 is unreasonable for a family of 4, I'm just saying that I've had to miss one game already this season because I couldn't afford the ticket price plus the travel costs at that time. I'm not calling for a reduction in ticket prices particularly, merely supporting the view that a not-insignificant proportion of the stay-away fans may be staying away for factors other than the success or otherwise of the team.
That being said, I went very little last year, and when I did go, I went with extended family members who would have gone anyway. This season, I've taken my wife, my son and one of my son's friends to most home games (plus the Cas away game), so the club has actually gained four supporters that weren't in attendance most weeks last year.

There already is a family season pass, as I recall. I just couldn't run to the £500 or so needed to buy one just before Christmas. Don't think they could do a pint and pie one as they don't take any money from the food/drink, as far as I'm aware.

Never realised you did a family pass, scrap that idea.
I don't think the pie n pint pass is a bad idea, obviously no good for Hull though.

The price of our pies and pints, it'd probably double the cost of the pass. And I don't know anyone who would like to commit to eating/drinking that swill every single game!
