too early to know what I am doing work wise to plan a trip, I hpoe the RFL don't bugger people about this season.

Flights are massively expensive already direct to perpignan.

Carcassone was fairly cheap when I looked yesterday, as was Barcelona, I like the idea of driving to be honest.

Carcassone was still over £100 each and Gerona was about £95 without the added hidden extra's. As we're going Friday to Sunday purely for the beer anr rugby driving wasnt a good idea.



Still, with 1 case between 2 and the flights from stanstead etc its come out at £170 each!! Bloody daylight robbery but its done now and paid for.

The problem isn't the fairs, it's the bloody tax!!!

Yup. Of the £170 each only £50-£60 was the fare quoted. Tax plus charge for case plus mandatory online checking in now at £10 each etc.

Dont know how they dare charge people for checking in online at home. Surely its more expensive to have someone sat at a desk checking everyone in?

Because they all do it, thats the nub of it.

Like when I booked Universal Studio's tickets, $2.50 each for printing them off at home!!!!!

I'm thinking of sending them an invoice for the 2 pages of A4 ive used.

just booked our trip for catalan, 7 nights in lloret, flying with ryanair from donny robin hood to girona/gerona, weds to weds, £225 each, for 4 of us,

hotels were cheap enough, 3star, self catering and 300yds from the beach, it was the flights and hidden extras, baggage, tax, priority boarding that cost over half the trip, just need to contact mr foti once he has sorted out transfers from lloret and tossa for game day travel

if you are going for 7 nights then a hire car is a better bet, unless you plan to spend a week on the beach?
