Yes they do. Its the nature of the sport we love. Berrigan is paid good money to play for Hull FC , if he needs an operation so be it, but if he played for my team he bloody well would spend his recooperation time where I allowed it.

It's a poor organization when employees tell the employers what's best. If I was yeaman, washy, Horne or any other English kid at the club I would telling them that if the Aussies aren't going to be back for the beginning of pre season then neither would I be.

He went back to Oz, received treatment & rehab and went on to get an origin call up! The Aussie 'sports science' (or whatever the term is) might be in advance of ours.
