Back on topic. I fail to see what difference this will make to us fans. I live out of town and still get upto date info from and about the club. I have a direct link to KCFM on the HFC toolbar on this computer. I also read forums and websites.

It will allow the idiots on Humberside to constantly go on about not being able to talk to the club, but there is a pattern emerging here. Sports clubs banning the station from talking to them. It might now be time for the powers that be at RH to take stock. They may get licence payers money, but if their listener figures start falling, then the powers that be have to act or the bosses in London will start to ask questions.

Burnsy can not carry on as if he is some kind of demi god who can do and say whatever he wants. OK to be a shock jock, but its always best to do your research first and to take into account your listeners before opening your trap. This he clearly failed to do in the Reardon fiasco as Gwillum to his credit tried to point out.

Sorry Kosh but I disagree. If the boot was on the other foot and it was Rovers they were poking fun at we would all be chuckling on here. The simple fact is our club have left themselves wide open with the gaffs that theyve made and our now trying to turn this around and get fans listening to a Radio station they have a keen interest in.

As a Chelsea fan i have seen the forums and yes they are very over the top, but the Peter Levy comment was a joke. Wind your neck in!

I believe that I've already made it clear, more than once, that I don't think a ban was the way forward.

I also disagree with your assessment of the comments. The remark about the Prodigy tune was crass at the very least and also demonstrated a lack of knowledge about the case in question. Similarly, his comments about the FCTV segment seem to have missed the point that it [iwasn't an interview[/i. It was a way to disseminate information to the fans and was actually a suggestion from outside the club. Burns and Gollum were just exhibiting a bad case of sour grapes.

I think that Blunderside - or, more accurately, Burns and Gollum - made comments inappropriate to the BBC, regardless of the latitude afforded local stations. I'd feel that regardless of the target of their diatribes. The correct course of action for the club to follow, IMO, would have been a formal complaint to the BBC with a follow up to the regulator.
