| Do we really believe the linnet story. If you see a rovers player in his undies trying to scrap with someone, what do you do.
100% get your phone out and record it or at least make sure someone else is. I think if it happened there would be some evidence by now

| I used the word awful to describe Tuimavave's season, and yeah that word might be a bit harsh, but I'm judging him by his previous standards which have been very high ever since he joined the club. Statistically he might still look ok (although regarding errors, how many times has he caused an error that doesn't go against his name? The offload to Lane for example). His workrate is still very good, so of course he's going to have decent yardage stats etc. I'm more concerned about his poor defensive reads, or how often he gets caught flat footed these days, or how he isn't running the smart lines he used to.
Lots of centres get to the point in their careers where they just aren't dynamic enough to play the position anymore, and the logical move is into the back row. I think that's where Carlos is right now. A backline of Swift, Sutcliffe, Scott and McIntosh with Tuimavave, Savelio and Fash in the backrow could do really well imo.

| It would be nice to see Staverly get a run out in the second row. Maybe coming of the bench. The lads certainly big enough.

I've only ever seen him when he played that little cameo against Cas, but he seems to be well thought of. The kid is a unit that's for sure.

| Other option is Jebson, who is a very strong running backrower.
Shame Severs is out for the season, as he would have got a few games.

| Got some good back row potential in the next few years.
The Linnett story picking up a little bit of traction on Social Media

| Just watched Swifts first try again, what was Lewis doing, he gave up and could maybe have caught him, when he slowed down to round Walker.
I'd be fuming if that was a Hull player.

8082_1359018606.jpg I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_8082.jpg |

Yep certainly not good and if it really is the case seems the wheels may well be coming off their wagon.

Its a good comparison.Lets hope Smith sees it that way as i think he would be successful in the second row and lets face it Lane ot Carlos who would you choose?

Think long term you are right, but been playing nearly his gametime in the backrow for Newcastle and more likely to play for Hull in the backrow rather than frontrow.
Worked well for Scott Taylor
