| I quite happy with Sneyd, bit up and down, but he is young and playing for a new team, he tries things, some don't come off, but he all the skills to be a top class 7 and given time I believe he will be.
Pryce has been as poor the last two games along with a few other more senior players, they all need to step up.

| Quote: Keiththered "Injuries are part of the game. Campo's injury is to a knee that has not been previously injured I understand. That could not be foreseen. All 30+ players are more prone to injury as you have experienced with Ellis.
As Sneyd was not considered good enough for Salford and only had 2/3 of a good season with Cas his in and out level of performance could have been foreseen. Still as you say Pearson can spend his money as he wants. He has wasted rather a lot though on poor players and having to pay players off.
My previous comment was in response to an FC fan who is disappointed by Sneyd's performance. You then in your usual manner bring in superfluous comments about another team's player which is completely unrelated to the discussion.'"
The thing with Sneyd is he brings quite a few things to the team that we were missing, he's only 24 & English so not likely to get homesick. IMO worth a punt on, especially if we can get some consistency into his game. As for my 'usual manner' how would you know what that is? I hardly post on here.

| I know I am biased but I think that it was malicious. Just hold him down and concede the penalty and professional foul. No need for the rolling over when holding the ankle. From what I've read DM is still in a boot but dispensed with the crutches. I haven't seen the result confirmed only speculation by Peter Smith in the EP

| Robert Hicks live on radio yorkshire and available as a podcast on Audio Boom. Says in interview there were 2 deliberate leg twists. Before anyone posts again you need to check it out to have any credibility in posting.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "I don't doubt he's injured. Extent and severity tannoyed by Leeds management post match was hugely inflammatory before a diagnosis, and inappropriate IMO. Whether he's fit to play Friday or not I doubt he'll play. With us missing Mini and Sneyd, and possibly Pryce, they won't need him.'"
Doesn't McDermott have some previous in the 'overstating injury' department? IIRC some years ago, after a game against Wire (memory again), did he not claim to have three players with "broken jaws"?

I'm glad you put that up, because we have learnt two things,
From what the ref saw he was right to sin bin both players
Mcguire was lucky not to get sin-binned earlier as the ref spoke to him 5/6 times during the match.
Most Hull fans agree that Sneyd deserves a ban and the grade the RFL have given him is fair IMO (Should be 3 matches based on the Elima one last year)
What annoyed me and other Hull fans is Mcdermott claiming he had broken it, without any evidence, which causes a storm with media and fans and the Leeds fans claiming Sneyd should be banned for 10-12 games, when he doesn't deserve that.

Personally I'd put Abdul there. Played well on Sunday and has got a massive kick on him.

Hicks says they have looked at it and identified 2 twists. So might well give more than 5 games. It's a guide not a limit. I recon he will get 7 or 8 games if they have identifed 2 attempts.

| If he gets 7-8 games I'll be amazed. 3 game ban no more, it was stupid, heat of the moment and all that. Watch it in slow motion and it looks miles worst than it was like everything else does.

| Quote: Jake the Peg "Other than the odd flash of brilliance, sneyd has been pretty disappointing this season for me, however he is the only one in the team with anything resembling a long kicking game. If we lose him for 3+ matches we'll really struggle in those games, particularly with mini likely out and maybe pryce, it will be a tall order for us to get anything out of Friday's game'"
Largely not Sneyd's fault IMO, he's just the latest victim in the FC scrum half shirt. For the run of games where we consistently upped our option runners, support play and ptb speed he looked exactly what we need, it's not coincidence. Unfortunately if we now get back to that on Friday he probably won't be available to reap the benefit.

That's unlikely as the grade he is up for is maximum 5 matches and he hasn't been cited for two separate incidents.

I'd be amazed if he got more than 3, they usually take previous into consideration and he's not been up for this kind of thing before. The thing that is a surprise is if Hicks says he saw 2 twists then why that would add intent which on first view doesn't seem to there, as has been said more a clumsy attempt to slow it down in the heat of the moment

| If Elima got 4, who has a much worst record than Sneyd and Mcguire isn't as badly injured as first thought it should be 3.
I'd take that as he would be back for the last 3 games of the season, we still should still have enough to beat Wakey both home and away if we play near our potential.
