That's how I saw it. Very deliberate

| It was high and deliberate, Burns knew exactly what he was doing and should have seen Red. To me, what saved Burns was straight away Ben Crooks got up and went after Burns. If he's stayed down think it would have been a different decision.

Quote: slimez "Sad thing is 1/2 of teh other "head high" tackles weren't...'" Agreed.
Quote: slimez "In the end probably would have been better for rovers if he was sent off..'" I doubt that Quote: slimez "now he's injured hope its a long layoff... justice mayhaps.'" Perhaps it's time you grew up as hoping players are injured long term is truly pathetic.

| He was looking directly at Crooks' head and his arm was well above his own shoulder when he swung it in malicious and full of intent, 10mins minimum.
Karma came around quickly though.

| Considering Fat Boys previous for sending our players off for high tackles I should have been surprised (but wasn't as it is Fat Boy afterall) when he didn't send Burns off as it was as blatant a high shot as you can get. The way he swung his arm was only ever going to end up in his face and it was deliberate IMO. I'd love to know what Fat Boys criteria is for sending off a player for a high shot because I'm sure that one would tick all the boxes.

Fat boy is a joke - as for criteria I think we could all list some possibilities.

I don't believe Ganson was actually going to do anything at the time, he seemed to miss it or ignore it. It was the intervention of the touch judge that brought a penalty.

I don't think he was going to bin Horne until it was pointed out to him that he had given a team warning.

He actually looked at the big screen to see who to bin for that one.

When was the last time you saw a player get sin-binned for a high tackle? I literally can't ever remember it happening. It's always just a penalty or a red card.

Correct - calling for 10 mins is just a nothing call.

will only bin after a few high shots, although this has now been replaced by the ref doing gangnam style for a team warning
