i wouldnt spell FB or FB them UNLESS THEY GET INJURED or play crap. Your substitute bench needs to cover as many eventuallities as possible, even positions you dont normally change like centre wing full back and even half backs.

No mention of second row or loose forward. But mentions of back 3, which I would take as the wingers and FB.

If he meant that Manu COULD cover the centres, then yes he COULD. But I woulnd't having him spelling them at any time, just like I would never have Long spelling Houghton, which was also suggested.

He's quite clearly reffering to the back row.

There are only 2 back rowers in the pack, so when he said back 3 and "Covering FB and Wing? He could go in centre with whiting covering FB or wing" made me think otherwise.

In 40 years watching, playing and coaching i've never heard anyone refer to full back and wingers as the back 3, so thats a new one on me. I can see them being a back 3 when opposition kick the ball deep from their own half as both wingers sometomes drop back.

It refers to the back 3 in a scrum tommy, ie second rowers and loose forward.

well, for me a really solid display and an impressive win will be what i am hoping for, with obst and horne pulling the strings i am confident of this happening tbh

I fully expect a victory,but as long as we show the same commitment as on sunday then that should do it for us,but Wakey are hurting at the moment,and really are not expected to get anything on friday,so total concentration is needed,and if we get a lead,we need to push on and not try to defend it.
