Agree.
Kite
Lauaki
Dowes
Thackray
Maloney
Radders as cover for both prop and 2nd row. Radders will be better if he's spelled more and has a point to prove, which will be the case if he's competing with Manu/Fitz/Burnett in the 2nd row and those mentioned above at prop.

Maloney and Moa also have to prove themselves but with their salaries being low we could keep them for another season at least.'"
I think these two need to be given more game time and used in a proper rotation before they can be classed as deadwood. IMO they should both be given another year.

How about moving Yeaman to 2nd row? Didn't he say, once, that he prefered playing there?

Only one I would disagree with is King, maybe Thacks should go instead but I am not sure.

| You are talking out of your backsides regarding Yeaman, if you watch the game properly when was the last time he got a decent ball to run on too, he is one of the best three english centres in Super League with Shenton and Atkins, people really do amaze me. It was Raynor last week and Yeaman this week next week it will be Horney. pffffffff.

The only one of those I wiould keep is Tickle, who I think wouold be one of the biggest off loaders of the ball in the league IF Hul had any support players.
Also, Yeaman! He has been living on the memory of the first half of 2006 for far too long. As someone else identified, he is a second rowers for us at the moment. He doesn't really offer anything in attact other than head down and run as hard has you can at the opposition, indictating his inability to learn and develop this overall game. Its only a couple of weeks ago that Keith Senior gave a master class in centre play by should how to make space for yourself with a change of direction when he received the ball, or the way Senior consistantly puts his winger in teh clear.
Yeamans biggest attribute is his defence, which usually cannot be faulted, but more and more he is now charging out of the line, missing his man and we are 4 more points down.
Others on this thread have dissed G Horne. Although not the greatest of players, when was the last time he let the side down?

Yeaman couldn't lace Senior and Gleesons boots.
Tony Clubb already looks a better player and Paul Sykes would get infront of Yeaman, for international call ups (along with Atkins and Shenton).
It really amazes me that just because a particular player come from Hull they are, in the eyes of some, imune from criticism. Take you B&W glasses off. It was the same with King, who, in the last 3 years, has only produced half decent performances when his next contract has depended on it.

Senior and Gleeson are better, and that's without thinking hard.
I agree that Yeaman has been starved of decent service, but even so his form has been patchy for the last few seasons.

He's the only guy who in the team who actually runs angles and takes the ball in hard everytime. Yes I admit his defence has been lacking in some games but most probably due to fatique with our great use of the interchanges.
Yeaman to be fair has struggled over the last few years (but which player hasn't?) due in part to the injury he suffered a couple of seasons ago and the fact we haven't played an expansive game of rugby for the far too long and we rarely get the ball to either of our centres or wingers.
Even if we had Folau & Hodges out there it would make little difference at present. I think we need to give our centres & wingers decent service before we start off loading them.

Yet he still seems to top our try scoring chart almost every season (currently top at the moment). We are one of the least potent attacking teams in the league and people want to get rid of our main strike weapon!!!

Getting rid of Yeaman would be absolute madness. Granted he is not playing aswell as he did 2/3 years ago but that is mainly down to getting zero service. He is actually doing quite well this season and I am not sure why so many Hull fans want to slag him off so often.

I didn't say I wanted rid of him. Used correctly he can still be a potent weapon, but as an all-round centre he's not in the top 3 English players IMO.
