| Quote UllFC="UllFC"I think changing no7 again would be a terrible decision. Seymour is not the best half-back in the world, but he is consistent and after 4/5 years of injured half backs and new combinations next week, I'd be happy for us to have some stability for next year at least.
I'm also not aware of any better halves being out of contract and available.'"
Agreed, we need to keep some sort of core to the team to work around. I like Seymour, his passing is very good when he's on his game, he tackles very hard and shows plenty of passion. I also expect his game to go to another level when Heremaia is fit.

Pg won't be going anywhere, he loves it here, family settled and would quite like to actually stay beyond his 3 years
He's committed to getting the academy right, the future he believes is with the academy but needs a good crop to bring through, even if it means looking further down the m62

| Kosh will love this tweet from James Smailes.
'Speaking of Horne, Peter Gentle has told me today there is every chance Horne will switch from the halves to become FC's new full-back'
James Smailes@James_Smailes
If Russell only stays a month I expect Horne will play FB for rest of season, if Russell stays longer Horne will make switch in 2013
So,a new 6 will be signed!!

I think Seymour has been doing a good job since he arrived. he is good in defence and can score the odd try.
Most halfbacks take a while to settle in and i reckon next season he will a lot more dangerous in creating trys

if that is going to be the case i'm surprised we don't play Horne at FB now and give Nicklas/Ellis the extra game time at 6
it may be a good move in the long run as i'd rather we signed a new stand-off than keep Horne there. Rangi Chase would be a good signing

I get the impression a few people will be leaving us because they don't have the work ethic Gentle wants, Ogre being the main culprit.
Also, you have to ask yourself, is Turner going to make way for one of McRae's favourites from Salford?

I'm not saying that you're wrong but I'd have imagined that O'Meley would have one of the best work ethics in the squad considering that he has previously played State of Origin and for Australia because neither of those happen by accident.

no, but they also don't happen once you've crossed the pond and had a couple of years of Fubar bowing and scraping to you.
