Maybe a bit of a sweetener for him coming with Naden. Naden was a good attacking centre in his Panthers days, then I think he got dropped (for Tyrone May) for their first GF due to his defence. Never really got going again at Dogs or Wests.

I've also heard Carty bringing a half from Brisbane. Only one I could see coming is Jock Madden.

I’m sure Sullivan was the original thinking behind allowing Trueman to speak to other other clubs. I’d still say it’s very unlikely and the Wests fans will just be parroting the earlier reports in the media and the joke his agent tweeted about him joining Hull (seems a strange joke to make) they won’t have any inside info.

It’s unlikely because he still feels like he’s good enough to play NRL, like I said in earlier in the thread these things change quickly though Dufty at Warrington is an example, the longer it goes without another suitor in the NRL the more likely a SL move becomes. I reckon he’d obviously want NRL contract get outs but at this point I’d go with it even for a year. We start to climb up the table and recruitment becomes a lot easier. Leigh and Salford don’t seem to struggle recruiting like we do because they can offer a competitive team.

He is the type of signing we should be making, not quite good enough to play halfback regularly in the NRL, but too good for Queensland cup, would go well here.

Not sure which club would sign him though inn the NRL.

Other one could be Paix, mainly plays hooker, but started as a 7.

[iThey have both been given permission to leave but nothing official yet. Its been reported Naden has been in contact with the dragons and Hull in the UK. Dud has come out said he isnt going anywhere and still has 1.5mil contract until the end of 2027. Naden is signed up next year $300k and Dud for $500k. It would free up $800K to add to Richos $2mil war chest if the useless pricks that add nothing at all to the first grade team would just bugger off.[/i
