Considering we only lost by two points, and that to giving a penalty away,I can`t see why Salford fans think they are suddenly world beaters.Having said that, they won, we didn`t, I am sure we will continue the trend of win some /lose some.

Always best to sign off with a flourish.

Which is why I'd have been absolutely gutted to have lost to Hull last night!

Very few people refer to Wakey as 'the Cats' or any variation thereof, whereas many people have been referring to the Dragons as 'Les Cats' (the 's' being used in a plural sense) since their inception. It was pretty obvious who he meant, especially in the context in which the phrase was used.'"
It's not pedantry though, is it? You feel it ok to use the wrong words/information, as long as [iyou[/i know what you mean?
Whether or not people generally refer to the Wildcats as "Cats", is irrelevant (though the Hull fans do seem t like drinking in the Cats Bar on their visits to BV).
If a club is called Catalans Dragons, call them "Catalans Dragons", "Catalans" or "Dragons"! They are clearly not the "Catalans Cats"
What's the point of having rules of language?*
* No need to answer that - I've just seen the GCSE English Language results for Hull.'"
What a giant cock.

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Do we? Not like our CEO is on record as saying we'll finish 4th as Mike Smith has already done about Rovers so there's less pressure on us.'"
I think you'll find your coach predicted a top four finish (can't find a link to where our CEO said this though), then moving onto top 2 in the next couple of seasons, and i quote... "We want to take Hull FC to the top four and not just stop there, but become a top-two team in the next two to three years."
No, no pressure at all.

| Quote: dboy "Glad to see you follow this ethos in choosing your own name.
The abbreviation for the proper place name Wakefield is indeed "Wakey".
The suffix nickname is Wildcats, abbreviated to 'Cats, or indeed "the Cats".
This follows with "the Dragons", "the Rhinos" and Rovers, Giants etc. etc. etc.
Or did you, last night, play "the Sals"?
Is it too much to ask for the Dragons to be known as Dragons???
I sense you are the type of person who says "CatalanS" and that you think that it is unnecessary to teach and assess spelling and grammar in schools these days!'"
Great stuff, you're behind a long list of stupid people that have gone down that one.
I know of not one person that calls Wakey, The Cats.
Last night I didn't play anyone, nor did the team I support.
Yes, It is too much to ask, Nobody calls them the Dragons.
I do say Catalans, as do most others. rlhttps://www.catalansdragons.com/rl It's contagious. I must confess, I don't call them Cats but I do know who people are talking about when they say it.

With that, I think we've reached the zenith of a game over 24 hours ago.
