Thought our kicking game was as poor as the chase to be honest, we lacked all round enthusiasm and class and skill and speed etc etc etc |

No kicking game was a big factor in us losing the game as it handed position to the Aussies. A lack of any kind of link with the two halfbacks hindered our attack aswell. To many players performed poorly.
At 12-4 we were on top but could not convert the field position. Had we scored then it could have been an interesting game. The fact is we had to defend too much in the first 30 mins and it told.
There are no better players than Inglis, and Slater.
