Guess singing 'since 1985...You've only won ONE trophy...since 1985' doesn't quite have the same ring to it!!!
In under ten years, we've both now lost our favourite song/chant. Sure we'll find something else to rag each other with before long!!!
We need to go back there soon and win it. Since 2017 seven clubs have now won the Cup - Catalans, Warrington, Leeds, Saints, Wigan, Leigh and Rovers. Salford, Cas and Huddersfield have got to the final and lost. Only Wakefield in Super League have waited longer for a Challenge Cup Final.

| Somehow Lewis got 6 votes for Lance Todd. All other votes went to Sneyd. Would love to know what their reason was for voting that way. King, Yates and Vaughan all better than Lewis.

| Only two tries scored in a fourteen point game. Think it's the first time that has happened in a C.Cup final since, ironically, 1980!! Even our 12-10 win contained four tries. Not that the red & whites will be too fussed by that stat, but across all of their C.Cup appearances rovers don't score many tries or points. Something of an anomaly I guess.

Talk about grinding out a win, it made our 2016 victory look like a stroll in the park!!
Congratulations to our red & white brethren, been a long time between drinks.
Thought their defence won it for them when Wire had that spell of pressure, but couldn't finish them off.
Warrington almost looked like they didn't care if they scored or not. Needed to take more chances to actually kill the game off. Instead they were happy to play out their set, take a minute off the clock and then either win a drop out or just pin them down. For 78 minutes it worked really well, just a high tackle on the last tackle has probably cost them the cup. Tough one for them to take no doubt. even tougher for you

You actually think I care more than a genuine Warrington fan? I don't give a .Comments like yours are always so weird. Would I have preferred Wire to win? Yeah. Has my life changed in any way because of that result? Absolutely not? Is my weekend ruined? Absolutely not.

100% this. I'm disapppointed Rovers won but it has zero affect on my life other than I can't tease the two or three Rovers supporters I work with. They are decent lads anyway and it's all in jest. I'll be way more ed off if we lose on Friday than I was today.

| I thought Sneyd was going for the drop, it was on and he looked shaped for it. If he did that wins the game. Kills another minute and it's all over.
