i agree but look on the bright side, prescott is younger and cheaper than fielden. he is an addition to an already good pack. we still need to sign a playmaker

Doesnt really fill me with confidence at all. I see what your saying he will be on the cheap and hes young but with the current team we'll be pushing for 8th imo. Fingers crossed we get some top quality in after the nations.

Hock is back sometime next season, and is tipped by some to play prop.

Also they have Tuson who came through late last year.

Prescott would be a decent signing a good/better replacement for Cusack, I would keep Dowes for a year also.

Add a young NRL halfback on a short term deal and we will have a decent team IMO.

I would imagine that is the plan but if you are waiting till after the nations you are cutting it fine.

He looked okay in the play offs with very very good players around him. Its just a massive difference between so close to signing Fielden then we sign him.

He looked good when he was breaking tackles and offloading the ball, with no help from others to do it! He put in some great runs against Leeds, no matter who was around him.

I agree, Fielden would have been a good signing on his recent form and his experience, but PP has also been playing well and is a lot younger!
