He has actually played much better than I thought he would and I wasn't against him coming in to share the hooking role with Houghton for a season and provide some cover at HB. Still dont agree with limiting our quota options for next year by signing him on a 2 year deal though. |

It still effects things. My own personal view is that quota spots should be reserved for top quality players. As much as Obst has played well so far I still think a 2 year deal is a mistake. |

You haven't to be fair. If it's your opinion then it's your opinion. Assuming Lauaki and Fitz leave at the end of the season, and possibly Phelps, then it doesn't affect our overseas recruitment at all. |

Lauaki makes no difference as he isn't a quota player. |

apart from cronk,thurston,prince and one or two more who we wont sign anyway,most of the rest are like green,herbert,holdsworth.no better than obst.

Why? Fitz and Phelps are out of contract at the end of the season. I make that 2 quota spots. It's also not a pre-requisite that you have to fill it. |
