Believe me, AP isn't taking any single line of advice, he's spoken to a number of people and continues to do so, people forget, he hasn't owned the club for a fortnight yet, he'll take his time and do the right thing, that may well be keeping Agar but getting some support around him, I'm not pre-judging anything.'"
Even if Pearson was inclined for whatever reason to keep Agar on, for purely commercial reasons I can't see it happening. He knows full well that if Agar stays we'll lose at least 1500 off the average attendance next year, and if he goes we can stick 1000 on to it (with more to come when performances are seen to improve).

You are not alone. Actions speak louder than words, as we all know having watched the Agar years as closely as we have.
I agree AP would be a fool to keep him on, but..............! If he does as we wish him to do I don't see an instant rise in crowds. Some of us still want to see results and a completely different attitude adopted by the playing staff, who are culpable for the predicament we are in. I know that the right man can alter that as we have seen with the Wigan squad, but people forget Wigan were a improving team under Noble. Agar's Hull team are at best stagnating. I don't see improvement being easy even with a quality coach given that the vast majority of next season's squad is already signed.
I am also curious to know how much AP knew about players being resigned while he was in negotiations to buy the club. Did he sanction Horne's extra 2 years? Did he do the same for Moa. I for one would question the Horne deal. Unless he is a squad player only from next year and not given the no 6 shirt.
There is more to come both good and bad as far as I am concerned, either way it has to start coming soon as some of us have lost or are losing patience.

Would think it will be a hell of a lot more than 1500,
did the club ever release the actual number of pass holders for 2011? i dont think they did to avoid any negative publicity on a lower figure than 2010.

let this be true
I'm not one for knocking coaches but enough is enough, We as fans deserve better than what we are getting.
I dont expect Hull Fc to be winning everything (although would be nice), but I do actually expect us to be actually challenging for trophies.
Surely considering the off field structure of the club (which is one of the best in the league) should mean we should be..

| A new coach is not going to work miracles next season, it will take time and that is the greatest enemy this club has now. We have for several years been strung along and even with a new owner, I fear patience has run out with many.
The pressure for success next season is massive and any coach coming in will be right amongst it from day one.

I dont think the majority are expecting miracles under a new coach. As long as we see progress I think the majority will be happy. The biggest problem we are seeing at the moment is there is no light at the end of the tunnel as the players continue to make the same mistakes week in and week out. After a while the blame has to lie with the coach and not the players.

It wont take much to make us much more attractive both in terms of league position and entertainment value. If you look at this season's games easily achievable wins against Wakey and Cas at home and at least one more win against R****s would have us 6th and that's without any real benefit that a new coach will bring. I agree with your point that no doubt some would expect instant success but what I would say is that there is plenty more available next year from the players we know will be here to allow us to win the games I mention. Add in a couple more better results against the top end teams with the new coach factor and we wouldn't be that far away. We do need a new coach to achieve it that for sure. It just needs a massive breath of fresh air inside and outside the club and that would be enough to revitalise things.

| If what i hear this afternoon is correct there is a HUGE shuffle afoot at FC, but dont bank on RA going just yet!!!
But AP has a massive, very expensive and RL mindblowing plan of action which I am told he plans to unfold over the next 12 months to place us ready to challenge for the top slots in the following season as clearly next season is already set in stone player wise apart from the odd change, but i am led to believe he is aiming VERY high indeed which goes hand in hand with what he has stated publicly.. all good news for FC fans so I guess it would be correct to say lets be patient and wait to see what he plans because he most certainly isnt here to watch us loose too often ... losing isnt in his remit..

Have to say I agree with hullbg, I dont demand instant success or expect to see it but what I do want and expect to see is Agar removed from the club completely and a new Coach to the club come in and move us forward as a team which should not be that difficult if they are any good. As long as we see changes and the fact when things go against us we actually look like we can change a game plan mid game and wrestle a game back in our favour etc, see more support play & 2nd phase been incorporated into game plans and the consistant errors that are repeated week in week out etc I'll be over the moon.

Well lets hope there are still enough fans left prepared to pay money for passes next season if Agar is still at the club and I certainly wont be one of them. I've had enough of promises and want to see action, Agars had enough time whilst been at this club and failed.

I've heard this from a few people....apparantly Kath and co are looking to take over at Wakey and install Agar as the coach, while they look at turning round their finances/off field operation.
I have kept faith in the belief that Agar would turn us into contenders once he got his own squad together, but even I think enough is enough now. Hopefully Pearson will come to that conclusion based on us being approx 2000 fans down on last years home games. The overheads for a Super League club will be far lower than a Premier League/Championship Football club, so he knows if the on field product improves on the back of a new coaching regime, and crowds are 12,000 + on a regular basis, he's onto a winner.
