2008 Spend: £179 + £43 shirt + £21 derby ticket = £243
2009 Spend: £179 + £60 Club Rovers + £34 shirt (with £10 off) + £22 derby ticket = £295
2010 Spend: £179 + £5 Club Rovers + £35 shirt (with £10 off) + £12 derby ticket = £231
So your average annual spend since Club Rovers has increased from £243 to (£295 + £231)/2 = £263, an increase of £20, or +8%.
Sorry, what were the "savings" again? I mean the real ones, not some ones made up by your marketeers.

Basically for you laying out £65

£11 quid on your 2010 derby ticket
£10 on your 2010 shirt
£5 in the club shop
£110 - 65 = £45
Might not seem alot of money but it's the price of a shirt that you've saved by joining Club Rovers, value i'd say |

Look, you're paying 8% more a year since Club Rovers was introduced. That's real actual cash spend increase year on year. Club Rovers was simply introduced to cushion the blow of a 23.5% increase in pass prices. Marketed pretty well as the poor deluded souls like you think the club's doing them a favour and you're getting a fictional "saving". You're a marketeer's dream. At FC fortunately our pass prices were frozen in 2009 and went up about £10 IIRC, so an average increase of 2.5% vs 2008.
