| Leeds away Wakey away. Cats Wigan Home looked fit enough. Think it's more in the head IMO.

Do we have the mental strength to stick to a game plan and go set for set? or will we take shortcuts and go for the low % play which lowers our completion rate? Then when we are defending we take shortcuts by laying on for too long or straying offside and lack the mental strength to trust players to do their job meaning we have players trying to solve things themselves because we are defending too much because of our poor completion rate.

I don't effort is a big issue, ability and mental strength is a big issue.
I've mention a few times, but I don't think we are very fit, seem to have alot of 2nd half collapses.'"
You've not read the bottom paragraph, I stated the ones left off were for a lack of effort at times or not good enough any more, Houghton certainly falls into the not good enough anymore

| I've watched lack of effort lead to trys
Shaul and Griffin worst culprits recently.
Then Taylor joined in see Cas at home
Also when you rewatch Olpherts slice through our defence, you see Houghton jogging back when more intensity would of had him on Olpherts back, same instance you see Jordan Lane do nothing.
I can't accept a lack off effort and intensity arnt a problem with some players. They simply switch off and then half heartedly react. It's not good enough. I'm watching it 30 yards in front of me from east stand....... The TV recordings confirm what I'm seeing when I watch the moments back.
Griffin away vs Saints absolutely gave up on a couple of trys. It's rife

| I’ve seen enough this season to know the tail is wagging the dog and it is time he simply dropped the ones who believe they can disrespect the fans who pay their wages with the attitudes on display of late . If a player refuses to play in a position , end of discussion for me, send them packing however depleted we are that would never go on elsewhere and this notion that we are a big club needs banishing once and for all. We were once a big club , in the glory years of 1980-85 but now we are just a well supported club with an awful lot of trouble and unruly staff that need dropping and left to rot in the stands . They don’t deserve to be picked at any level for this club, so we can’t let them dictate to any of our potentially good players by allowing their attitude to pervade, even in the reserves . Time for honesty and I think fans would rather see a team of triers lose than some of the performances from the prima donnas who do t like the coach and so won’t perform .

The problem is if we can see it then why doesnt the coach react.
Thats my big problem with Hodgson. It was evident to me months ago that he was too loyal to certain underperforming senior players.
He is just a nice guy who doesnt have the disciplinarian in him to sort this club out and players have taken advantage.
I dont think he will be here next season

Hodgson will definitely be here next season. Whilst I agree that certain players should be dropped, who could he possibly bring in? Satae out for who knows how long, Soa out for 3 weeks, hardly anyone to cover the loss of those 2, let alone the ones you want dropping. Said it before, supporting FC is a clusterfook.

| With our injury woes, it would be daft to drop any fit senior players. Like it or not, he can’t drop the players mentioned for kids to play their debuts at this moment. Different story if most of the squad are fit.

| No disrespect but that's his level. I'm sure he'll do a decent job at Widnes, but whoever gave him a 3 year deal at Hull needs a slap

| Still think it will be another year before we clear the decks
Cas have given Griffin (prop) a three year deal , and he’s 30.
Sort of deals we used to give out.

| I agree he deserves his third season IMO seen some good signs with youth and he’s gradually getting rid of the players that are underperforming or injury hit Shaul, Bowden, Grub, Ma’u(I believe although he’s been good missed too many games this season), JJ plus can see Griffin going soon.
