So, if Horne is out injured for the start of the season (and if he continues with all these injuries, next season should be his last at the club imo) who would people like to see filling in at 6?

Got to be Nicklas for me, an out-an-out 6, not just a cover player. How will we ever know if he can make it in SL if he doesn't get a chance in his proper position? |

The big improvement that these two new faces have brought in along with Horne and Long fit again is that we have a much more quality depth on the bench and reps now with quality footie players rather than in the past where we have "made do"
Berro to centre solves a massive problem and if he continues like the end of last season i can see him staying longer again, Horne and Long have tons of footie left in them , however in the forwards we now have a lot of cover in all depts and young uns coming through pushing for places... all bodes for a good campaign

I would offer Rovelli one year but not two. If he wants a longer deal let him come here and try to earn one.
As I understand it he is out of contract at the moment. I don't know how many options he has but I think its unlikely any NRL club will offer him a deal. I think Hull FC should stand firm on a one year deal. If any other club is willing to offer him two years then good luck to him - and them.

Need to get our finger out, then. At the rate Mason's visa is taking for approval, any Aussie signed now won't be here until spring.   |

He wont need one as hes Italian.
Oh and how anyone car slate the signing of an average Rovelli when weve currently got two halfs who cant put more than a couple of games together is beyond me. IMO we should get Rovelli in for two years and as our starting half with one of Long/Horne as the other ie they should be back up.

What im saying is that even if Rovelli is a very average half in Oz then hes very likely to be good to excellent in SL and should be offered terms that he will be first choice half with Long/Horne, who are very likely to be injured anyway, fighting it out for the other spot. Trying to sign Rovelli saying youll be back up to two aging crocks and will only play when they dont is clearly wrong imo. |

I think if we go into next season with westerman as our half back cover and washbrook as our interchange hooker then we will be struggling |
