Mick Gledhill just tweeted
The RFL AGM is currently underway, fully expecting no change to the current middle 8s structure (bottom four/top four). Super League are free to change the structure involving the top eight clubs post Round 23, so would expect that to change.

Should increase the winning money substantially for the league winners (Champions)
Top 8 to restart after round 23 all with zero points apart from the League winners who will be given 2-4 points start advantage. |

If Widnes get the 3/4 rumoured then they will be much stronger, Leeds will be fine, if Hastings does well at Salford it could be an interesting competition. I think Rovers will be ok as long as Lunt, Quinlan and Vai Vai stay fit.

I think Widnes now have a dependable game manager in Liam Finn and experienced forward Harrison Hansen? 2 decent recruits. |

widnes signing those players makes the middle 8s even more of a farce than it already is if they stay up! the rfl need to bring forward the transfer deadline at least two weeks earlier! a team that has 3 wins all season doesn't deserve to stay up, that's why i'm all for 1 up 1 down system
