Fair play to Shaul for wanting to nail down the full back role. Us, a lot of clubs & even England have played people out of position or hampered players development by changing half backs to hookers. If we want to be the best we need players who want to be the best. If he feels to be the best he can be is by concentrating on being full back then fair play he knows he's up against a good player & would get the odd game on the wing if he wasn't full back do to me we should applaud his attitude.

I like that Shaul has an opinion and stated preference, I reckon he's earmarked as our long term option so with Shannon OOC why not push for selection. I personally doubt he's refused point blank to play anywhere else. From an interview done a while back, Radders said McDonnell seemed a bit surprised that he wasn't nailed on starting FB in 2014, which might imply he's a bit complacent.
