i thought the Foster knock on he got right, Horne knocked it out of his hand forwards, but the Washbrook challenge was very harsh, the thing is you see those up in the air tackles/challenges every week and they all seem to get pulled up nowadays. but for me it wasnt a penalty.

Washy clearly cups his hands to go for the ball. If he'd wanted to tackle the man in the air surely his arms would be round him?

The thing is bud,it was a pivotal moment,given our way ,we COULD have won.Not complaining too bitterly though,Saints second half comeback was top drawer,and I feel happy we hung on in there.

what about the one when he penalized us for graham moving off the mark?...with a hull player lying on the floor what did ganson expecthim to do?.... to play the ball standing on the player.

I'm not convinced it was a penalty to Hull but I did comment several times during the game that Saints players were simply stepping over the ball with no attempt to put their foot on it throughout the game.

there was alot of dodgey descisions made, but washbrook did go for the ball. if players cant challenge for the ball anymore its wrong, in the nrl every high ball is contested, again why the nrl is better.
