you might be right, the immagration laws in thailand means you after leave the country for a period of time over a year.i know he has been living their on and off for a few years with his mate former leeds and cas scrum half gareth stephens.

I worked with Tony Duke for a while a few years back. Believe it or not I didn't recognise him at first, even when he introduced himself as Tony. He was wearing glasses, that's my excuse! It was only after we were talking about pubs round Hull and he mentioned going in Oddbottle after training that I realised I was in a great presence. He genuinely seemed chuffed to bits when I told him he was one of my heroes as a lad. He was fitting kitchens and doing joinery work for a guy involved in property refurbishment. Tony said he'd been invited to an ex players do at the supporters club at the Boulevard and asked me if I fancied going as he wasn't keen on walking in on his own. To my regret, I wasn't able to (wished I'd moved Heaven and Earth to go now!) but from all accounts his appearance brought the house down. He's one of the nicest unassuming guys you could meet and an absolute gent.

Brought up with Tony and i will fully agree with you,what a nice modest guy he is.Used to be often seen in the New Walton Club with his brother. |
