moa must be kicking his heels, turning his back on better offers to be treated like this is by agar, dry pithches=moa at his best but clueless agar can't see this.
as much as a great servant dowes has been, its time to move on, cusack we know will be going, radford although has some good games, more often they are outweighed by bad or non existant ones
if rumours are true about westerman, he should be the only forward we need to bring in next season, our priority is in the backs, a winger, or two and a classy centre. can see hall not staying too

TBH I can see the half back situation, where we get our first choice pairing on the park once every four games, being repeated next season.

I'd only keep Yeaman on reduced terms, I imagine we paid well over the odds, as he was a GB international at the time. His lack of form (and his injury today could be lengthy) means we can't pay big again.
we have to put all of our efforts into keeping Tickle and Manu, 2 of our most consistent and top quality performers.
I would also go for a no7 if a quality one is available, as its doubtful Long will play that many games next year.
other than that I agree a winger/centre is needed.

if long doesn't play that much next season, we should stick with turner and horne, tansey if needed as back up, our 3/4 line lacks power and pace, compare the size of leeds wingers and centres to ours!

Preaching to the converted, fella. Fully agree on Turner and Horne - we need a settled HB combination that's not Washy/Horne as that's flogging a dead horse.

| Whitings try bringing the bacon home phew! but how bad is it when you need Hull with +26 in running at home and they win by 2

No, no, no, the days of a ball-playing loose forward are dead. Unless you want to finish in the top 4, that is.

| Positives from today......
1) We saw forwards run with aggression
2) We saw half backs who run the line and create holes
3) We saw a great kicking game
4) We saw quality defence
unfortunately all from Leeds. Agar and Rule say we have a team to compete for major honours. Today proved how far away we are. Our 'Big Pack' got dominated. We look clueless ball in hand. A guy next to me summed it up when he said ' The players look like 13 blokes pulled off a park - none of them expect a pass'.
At one point we had near 30 tackles on Leeds line. Yes we scored but for 29 tackles we had nothing. Without the penalties (some dubious) we would never had scored. leeds however looked like they could have scored every time they attacked. So much the score board flattered us.
And the pictures of our coach on the big screen slouched back in his chair looking puzzled, summed the game up.
Previously, arguably our best player the last 2 matches, Moa, holds tackle bags before the match, to only warm a stand seat while Dowes, Radford and Cusack offer as much go forward as Gordon Brown, all feature without fail.
A 2 year contract in the bag. We should today a lack of ideas, aggression, speed that top sides are coach. Here's to 2 more baron years!!!
ps - Thank god for Willie. A true class player.

| I took money of the bookies again for getting the first try scorer. Went home and watched the NRL that is on the new channel.

His testimonial next season so I would agree, he will pull in a fair bit with that on top of his salary.
