I saw Motu a week last Monday at Ionians. Some of the squad were training together, but Motu (in his FC training gear) was jogging around the the main pitch on his own. He still has quite a noticable limp when he runs.

not sure how union is funded at that level, i mean they have no crowd to speak of, no tv money, yet attract a few overseas players. i assume its largely a part time thing

If ever a player was owed some support from our club it's Motu.

I believe he intends to stay in the area. My dad has met him a few time via Corporate Hospitality etc and he said he is really settled in the area and his kids have started school here.

I think Motu could do a great job for Hull working on the hospitality and community side of things.

Good shout - would be a good role model for kids on the community programme certainly. Always comes across as genuine and pretty articulate as well.
