To be fair Peacock was their only inclusion I agreed with.

I think he's been an amazing player and maybe did merit inclusion - I wasn't suggesting any of ours got in. More that there are certain automatic names on the sheet. That said specifically with Peacock I thought he showed his age on Friday albeit playing a big chunk of game time.

I agree it shouldn't but players are less likely to stand out in a poorly performing team so it's understandable.
Like has been said, half of the team is decided before the season even starts

| Hull have been turd over a long period with fleeting good bits. As a fan ive not been short of good 2nd rows too cheer on. Prob the only position barring hooker we've been consitantly strong in and ive seen none better than ellis this season!
hes something else. The most rellentless player ive ever seen. Ablett over him?? Really? Bull. Id be flying the whithead flag but honestly cant pick any over ellis.
o loughlin over westy is embarressing bareing in mind sean only plays 1 in 3 games n westys made opta team of the week more than nearly 90% of the dream team

| Sadly the 'Dream Team' highlights the low standard of Super League 2014. So many players picked on reputation. Huby much the best prop but ignored for 2 England internationals. Only Walsh (until injured) and Clark (until recently) have been 'outstanding'.

| With a season like Hull's it hard to expect much. The truth is there haven't been any truly outstanding players and of those selected there aren't any outrageously bad ones - though by the same token many could be replaced by similarly deserving players without controversy. O'Loughlin is the only strange one for me - not on ability but on lack of appearances.

| Disagree with O'Loughlin and Ablett, and to a lesser extent Hill (Huby been better IMO). At the risk of sounding like a bias because we've signed him, I also think Smith over Sneyd is a strange one.

Great pic of Tim Smith there
Rangi Chase got in the dream team and won man of steel in 2011 despite Cas not making the play offs
Also in 2006 we finished 2nd and only Yeaman made the team, more interestingly a player from a relegated team made it that year so do thing there is thought for a player from an under performing team.

Is it still done on the vote by position ?
Just wonder if he got X amount at 6 and the rest at 7

Always been a bit of an Ablett fan. Does the difficult things well and always thought he went a bit unsung compared to many of his team-mates.
If any journos belive he's in the same league as our Captain though, they need to give their heads a serious bang.
