| Quote: Jake the Peg "Good to see Horne showing some form this season. Thought he was head and shoulders our best player on Friday and sounds like he had a good game today in addition to some other good performances earlier in the season. He may not be the most talented 1/2 back in superleague but there is no doubting his commitment to the cause or the effort he puts into the game. Never seen him give less than 100% for the club and I'm pleased he's signed another 12 month extension. Great back up option and we'd have been really stuck this year if he wasn't around.
I look forward to standee's thoughts
You’re a rare breed indeed
I really cannot think of anyone else who would be looking forward to Standee’s thoughts (except Standee of course and perhaps his mum). I recon he could do adverts for go compare.
Agree about Horne though!

| Richard Horne is Mr Hull Fc: He's a fantastic competitor and a very professional player to boot. So far he has been our best player this season.

| It seems to me like his long kicking game has improved this year.
There was one on Friday that he's tried a couple of times this year where he clipped it just over the wingers head and got it to stay in the in goal for us to force a drop out.
I'm looking forward to him and Holdsworth getting games together for the rest of the season.

| I'm sure that this is the first year that he has had an injury free pre-season in the last few years, I don't think that is any coincidence to how he is playing, he is an excellent squad player to have.

| He'll only play four or five games - held together with tape and bandages. Oh hang on ...

| Personally I thought Horne was poor on Friday....
At fullback he let the ball bounce far too often and seemed like he couldnt be d to run it forward at times

Either give it a rest or go back and watch the game again. Head and shoulders above the other 16 in black and white on Friday.
Good game yesterday as well. Without doubt our player of the season so far.

| He's Hull FC through and through and is having a great season so far. As has already been said we would have been lost without him this season.
I've never had a problem with him in previous seasons but his form does seem to be better than ever this year. Could it be down to him remaining injury-free or could the fact he wasn't going to be a first choice player anymore (I'm presuming Holdsworth and Seymour were meant to be our first choice halves) have spurred him on to fight for his place?

Then I'd suspect you was the only one in the ground.
Couldn't be bothered to run it?!!!! In an impotent attack I'm sure he made about 3breaks?
Head n shoulders above anyone else! Even had my rovers mates singing his praises

April fools was yesterday. Are you for real? Only threat we had was from Horney. Watch the game again.

| Horney was the only one in the derby who looked like he knew what it meant to the fans. Ran his heart out and was my M.O.M
