A lot of people on here have no clue about rugby, so I wouldn;t worry if I were you. After last season, methinks Gentle knows Whitings value, and that will do for me.

I'd deffo have Whiting on the bench to rotate the back rowers and for utility value. Westerman v Galea for the other starting spot. Prefer Westy playing wider, mind.

I've given up. Those who can't see Whiting's value by now never will. He was head and shoulders above Westerman last season, yet there are still those who would pick Westerman ahead of him. I don't get it, but I'm past trying to convince people. Gentle knows the score, I reckon.

Whiting has got the best rugby brain in the whole squad and got rewarded with a new 2yr deal for his displays.Dont forget,Gentle picked him to do a spcific role v Leeds at home and he walked off with mom.I would sooner have Whiting at 13 over Westerman personally and,tbh,couldnt understand the Westerman signing and i wouldnt lose sleep if his contract wasnt re-newed.
