| Disappointing. He's not been the worst by any stretch of the imagination. Could hardly blame him for wanting to stay and earn the 2 years cash for sitting on his backside

| horne is finished, as i mentioned more than once last year.... only to be slagged off by the "hull born" brigade..... seymour is average, and a combuination at 6 and 7 that are average and finished is a bad one in my eyes...roll on next year

| People have been slating his performances this year (especially against Catalans) but he still offers more than Horne. Sounds like he is p!55ed with Pearson saying they are signing new half backs and has thrown a paddy. It's all about planning for next year now with Horne getting game time at FB. If he will be FB next year I will be surprised as there are many better ones out there. Horne has been poor the past few years. Probably down to injury and playing out of position. The way I see it, if he wasn't a local youngster he would never get into our starting 13. I doubt he would get into many starting 13's in the SL. Hopefully he can prove doubters wrong next season in a more preferred position and if he stays fit.

AP will pay him off.
Where has Seymour been singled out?
Both he and Horne have been moved out of the halves, it's just that Seymour can't play anywhere else.

couldnt agree more, the guy is a shadow of his former self.....we should have got rid at least 2 years ago... as ive always said, if horne was an ozzie, he would be looking at this point in his career to move to england, teams such as ourselves as proven in the past, dont mind taking on ex good players and pay them over the odds for 2-3 years....... until that mentallity changes, and it sounds like it is under pearson, them we wont win anything

| I'd also point out that Seymour will be on a bigger percentage of the cap and he takes up a quota space.

| People saying Seymour is no worse than Horne seem to have missed the fact that Horne has been moved from HB as well. The one advantage Horne has is that he can play elsewhere, and with our shortage of fit players he's still needed. Horne was also included in the 'mediocre' comments by AP so is hardly getting special treatment.

If Pearson does pay him off it wont of been a bad years work for Seymour would it. Lets say he's on 150K and gets severance of 200K for his last two years thats 350K for seasons work

He won't get that much but it will be pretty sizable.

| Semour hasn't been too bad this season but his recent performances have shown a lack of desire, this might be a result of him knowing he's going. Either way I would prefer him to be playing but if PG doesn't think he is committed enough then so be it.
McGoldrick/Heremaia in the halves is as poor as it gets.

| I agree Horne/Seymour have been crap. But the halves position goes a bit deeper then that.
The last two months our attacking line has become so flat again. Its not neccessarily bad ideas as much as it is everyone reading the play so slowly.
These are the same two players that took the team to one loss from nine at the start of the season.

think Mckinnon leaving didn't help matters but remember Seymour earlier in the season would take on the line, look threatening and get a try here and there,
