| The most important thing is that we continue to improve.
Cup run would be nice this year but in fairness with the way our club is being run now i'm convinced we'll have some silverware in the next couple of years
exciting times ahead

| Another plus with a good cup run is the money it will bring into the club.

| One no more important than the other. We enter 2 comps every year and should be aiming to win both.

| I don't think this season we will have much success in either but I am just happy with the teams continual improvement.
For me a good tilt at the play offs is all I'd like and what I think is achievable. With players returning and our improved style of play and self belief we might just might be able to have an impact come the business end of the season.

| Like mentioned the most important thing is consistency and continuous improvement...
However personally I would like to put the ghost to bed, so for me Challenge Cup.

| I don't care if we drop out the cup tomorrow, and finish 8th or 9th, I just want us to beat Wovers and Leeds.

Hope you're joking, if not you're an idiot.
As said, both are important - Gentle's comments suggest to me that a) He's taking the pressure off the Leeds/Wigan and b) He recognises, obviously, that tomorrow's game is more important than the Leeds/Wigan game as a lose tomorrow is the end of the cup for a season.

I was joking yeah, but I would like to see our record against Leeds improve, with Gentle though I think our record against everyone will improve

| Think Adam would appreciate a good cup run for the coffers, as the crowds are slower than anticipated to return.
No reason we shouldn't have both. In the short term we need to win tomorrow at all costs - lots of time left to secure a decent play-off position in the league.

| The two competitions are equally important, however the Challenge Cup undoubtedly brings greater financial rewards and a higher profile and we need that monkey off our back. Personally I'd be happy to finish in the bottom three this season and win at Wembley.
We are not quite ready to seriously challenge for the Grand Final so this year the Cup holds our best chance of silverware. It's a massive task tomorrow but should we win there's a good chance of drawing a Championship club in the fifth round.

I now believe the Grand Final has become the biggest game of the year, eclipsing the CC final in terms of prestige and importance. However, for us I think it is at least twelve months too early to make a serious tilt at the title (even with our excellent start to the season).
The CC represents our best hope of landing silverware this year and that is what makes tomorrow important.
I think most of us on here are just looking for a steady improvement in our regular season performances with the real crack at the title to come in the next 2/3 years.
But the Cup is certainly not beyond us in 2012. Don't forget that in 2008 we were absolutely pants for most of the year and yet found ourselves fifteen minutes away from lifting the old tin pot.
Of course we didn't meet anyone of Huddersfields calibre that year prior to Wembley, but victory tomorrow followed by a favourable draw in the next round will at least get us all dreaming a little bit.
After that, a bit of lady luck here and there coupled with a big performance (which this team is certainly capable of) on the right afternoon and, hey who knows, we could be celebrating at Wembley in the August sunshine yet.
Either way, the exciting thing for all of us is not whether we win or lose tomorrow, but what the next 4/5 years could bring for our club.
