I thought Kirk Yeaman was solid tonight without being spectacular, whereas Tom Briscoe was very good. We really do need to sign him up for life.

Kirk played a blinder tonight, and I hope Macca keeps him in alongside Brisc for the rematch versus the Ozzies. I also hope he carried this into his games when he plays for the FC as I also have been one who thinks Hull would have had more tries last season if he'd passed to his winger instead of trying to go himself. He's a very good centre who could be the top try-assist player in 2012 as well as being one of the try scorers too. Good on you Kirk, keep up the good work......grannyfan Cindy

Just cos i thought brisc was faster than that

He might be, he might have took a knock or been heavily involved in the previous defensive and attacking sets, he might have had to run further than Mannering, he might have realised he stole the ball in a 2 on 1 and slowed down, he might just not be that quick but I wouldn't swap him for anyone.
