Fully agree on both points. TBH I didn't think Washy looked right earlier in the season but he looked back to his best tonight. Said to Mr B Tansey looks to be a very handy player. Laughed about him playing 7 tonight but thought he caused plenty of problems plus how high were those bombs? Danny Brough-esque.

Nice to see halves in Hull shirts taking the line on and asking some questions instead of playing 10 yards away from the opposition. Helps to have some big lads up front playing with aggression as well.

Thought Whiting asked a lot of questions from full back as well. Added to the options & we looked far less one dimensional.

The beauty with Tansey is you can play him at 1, 6, 7 & 9. Will prove to be an astute signing.

Tansey not a fullback but can cover there, play him in his natural 6 position with longy, and put rich at fullback. It will work!

Washbrook was excellent, but its good to have competition in the side cause it brings the best out in players.
