he didn't take performance enhancing drugs. This is what makes me laugh when people call him a "drugs cheat" It was cocaine, not steroids or performance enhancers. He just fell foul of the tough stance that RL takes with any drugs being taken.
Find it weird how Ryan Hudson was banned for actually taking performance enhancing drugs and no one really slags him off about being a dirty drugs cheat. |

Not a drugs cheat but certain players have been sacked for less in my opinion and you have rewarded him with a 5 year deal!!! Hes a grown man and made a choice to take it..are you justifiying his actions??
I rate him as a player and hes served his time but hes a lucky boy to get a second chance at the same club when alot dont! |

Sorry but you're wrong, cocaine has been found to relieve symptoms of fatigue & improvement of reaction time within a 2 hour window. If it were taken pre match then clearly performance enhancing Yes the overall effect would be detrimental but the immediate effects are clear from a medical/physiological POV.
So yes Hock was a drug cheat, whether that was his intention or not to improve his performance.
