I would have liked to have gone.

Like a great many I joined HISA originally. Unlike a great many I lived outside of the district and for the amount of involvement I could put in it I fast became an irrelevance to the organisation.

I couldn't go last night as much as I would have wanted as Karen had to attend school and someone had to stay home with the kids.

I would be interested in joining the group and putting in as much involvement as I can.

Everyone is entitled to thier opinions and the ones that are knocking the new ISA before it get's going are noted - thanks.

Like i and others have said many, many well run and successful sports clubs have supporters associations that do a hell of a lot of good work along side the club - why are we any different?

Some people on here are missing the point - it's not about a protest group, it's about getting people together who have a common interest (in this case Hull FC) and doing something positive....if that starts with 8 people fine by me.

We intend to establish the new ISA over a period of time, people will be welcome at any time to join, the more the merrier, if we can do some great stuff along the way like fun days, fund raising, social events and eventually some forms of sponsorship that wull be great...afterall that is what we all want isn't it?

Once the ISA is established i'm sure we can than have our opinions on aspects of the club and when required be objective but constructive at the same time, with the views and opinions of our members at the core.

I'm sure it's not everyones cup of tea and fair do's but i'm all for giving it a good crack, in fact i'm excited about it (sad i know)!!!

I have been away since the meeting and this is the first chance I have had to make any sort of comment.

First I would like to thank Hutchie for setting up and chairing the meeting, he kept HISA alive when most us sat back and let it wither.

The meeting I did feel was positive, HISA is there for the good times too was a message I took away. The lads who have formed a commitee now need our support for the next move forward, it is not going to be easy most of us knew that anyway. They will help in expanding the organisation to every fan and that is not going to be easy when you look at the comments on here.

It is so important that we have an independant voice that can help the club as well as lobby when it is needed. We ignore such organisations at our peril, its so very easy to sit back and assume that everything in the garden

It was definitely an intersting night.

I hope everyone does well, people who attended that first meeting need to be kept informed of what is going on though.

Good point and we will have to come up with a way of doing just that and beyond just those who attended on Thursday night of course.
