Liu is a decent player but not a patch on Asiata. Leigh's attacking play looks so much more disjointed and pedestrian this year without Asiata pulling the strings in the middle. Liu doesn't seem to create any space for the half backs.

Warrington will give Rovers a decent game at Wembley.


Sneyd's eye doesn't look great but he got through. They have a massive decision on Williams bringing him back for the final. Big risk just seven weeks or so after his injury.

A good ein for wire given all of the injury disruption. We're they down to 1 interchange player that last 20 minutes?


I can't see the troubling the dobbins at Wembley though.  Their pack isn't good enough.


As for leigh, lam went missing and they didn't really offer much

I agree, but we are still building in this 2nd phase of our 5 year plan.. Wire deserved their win today, and best of luck to both teams in the final. 

Leigh likely to be losing lam next year meaning they'll need 2 half backs which is a tall order

I thought the officials dealt with the various collisions and head clashes well, on another week there'd have been a few cards.
A sign they've had a think and calmed down a bit or just reffing big occasions differently?

To be fair Jake, we don't worry about who comes and goes, we just trust our building to get to where we want to be, and we are nowhere near that yet.

Well, I'm sure we will get there, it's just a matter of time, and patience, and when we do, we will be hard to beat. 

Can you imagine if Sneyd was to drop a goal in extra time Golden Point, like Lam did in 2023?
I'm chuckling now thinking how utterly glorious that would be...... I'd drop my kegs round my ankles and run up and down our street shouting and screaming.
