I agree. The season's not over until the fat lady sings, unless Agar stays with no-one to "help" him.

| The more I think about the more I am certain AP will sack Agar or they will agree to part company.
I just worry about who will replace him.

Just hope (IF it's on the cards) it doesn't depend upon who Rule(Kath) recommends. Surely he's got the nonce to hire an independent advisor

His stats back up his failure..
He has not won a single play-off game AND for the last 3 season we have not won another SL team in the C/Cup.
BIG FAILURE!!!......GET GONE AND CLOSE THE DOOR ON YOUR WAY OUT
He may well leave, how do you know these talks are not already ongoing? Too early to call him a liar.

I'm sure he will go. I also believe AP will want to arrest the slide in attendances & make a statement of intent. He's savvy enough to seek out advice on who to appoint, & not just go for whoever is cheap & available (as the previous regime did).
I still think the change will happen once the season finishes. Let's hope so anyway.

Pearson's football appointments have generally been expensive and high profile. Jan Molby and Peter Taylor were high profile for Division 3 at the time. Phil Parkinson was a gamble and City paid a relatively high price in compensation to get him from Colchester.
I think he'd get the cheque book out for the 'right' man.

He was also the key man in getting Nigel Pearson from Leicester last season which has turned out to be a fantastic appointment hes turned the club from been "very likely" relegation to league1 to one that can compete for promotion back to the prem in just 1 year.

I don't like Rule either, but that's perhaps a bit strong.

| I don't see how anyone can be "sure" Agar will leave at the end of the season. I'll believe it when I see it.

I hope you mean NOUSE and not NONCE!!!
Believe me, AP isn't taking any single line of advice, he's spoken to a number of people and continues to do so, people forget, he hasn't owned the club for a fortnight yet, he'll take his time and do the right thing, that may well be keeping Agar but getting some support around him, I'm not pre-judging anything.

The problem for me though in keeping Agar in any capacity is he has been at the club for a number of years, he's been the assistant to 2 coaches who were seen as failures and given the boot by the Board and we have gone backwards at an alarming rate since the dizzy heights of the 2005/2006, so for me he simply has to go.
If he is still with the club next season in any capacity then thats it for me and after 32 years of supporting the club I never thought a day would come when I felt this way.

Well if he had stood by his word he would have been long gone, it is not as if he has just failed, that was apparent some time ago. Instead he goes on record and says we were not far off blah de blah.

Depends when he said what he said. I thought he said it at the end of last season which if so means he could hardly walk away some time ago.

| According to the Wakey fans rumour has it he's nailed on to replace Kear and they are really looking forward to the prospect of having one of the top British Coaches join their club.
