Any chance catalans had evaporated when tomkins wasn't available

The fact Rovers haven't one single time been offside, hit high, messed about at the ruck, is quite literally unbelievable. Rovers head and shoulder above Catalans today. Cats just look so flat and for as good as their forwards pack looks on paper, they all look like puddings on the pitch. But also, this result was decided well before kick off.

I drove into hull earlier and saw loads of Dobbins fans going to York. Reminded me of the time I was going to the lake district and got stuck in the traffic for the Appleby fair

With all the resources McNamara has, I'm amazed his job isn't under pressure.

Cats have simply been battered into submission here. Apart from that ten minute spell in the first half they haven't been at the races.


rovers are physically very dominant, the only way to beat them is to match them in that department for the first hour and somehow stay with them, but that is easier said than done.


Unless they suffer from a sudden bout of Wembley nerves in four weeks time it's difficult to see them slipping up in all truth. If they blow it they will have no one to blame but themselves. But we still live in hope for that to happen!!!

Think the only chance is Warrington win tomorrow, should have Williams back for the final.


But can't see anything but a Rovers win, people mock the signing of JWH, but he is a winner, will be driving standards on and off the pitch.

Broadbent is a very good player, too good not to in the 17, better than Morgue IMO.

Can see why Catalans were happy to let Morgue leave early. GA-B looks like he'll be a great player. Not saying he's better than Morgue yet but if they had the chance to cash in for a few quid and had a ready made replacement who will cost them less on the cap then it looks a good move by them.
