You must admit you have a lot of 'bandwagon' chasers attending at the moment though.
Believe me there will be bad times during your Super League life and when they arrive we can then assess your army of 'red and white since birth', die hard supporters !!! (Which every one I have met claimed to be !!)

True at present, although as recently as 2003 IIRC the respective averages were around 11,500 for Hull and 1,700 for Rovers.

I prefer latent support to bandwagonners.
Based on figures from my History of Rovers book (up to 1982-83), 8k is about what you'd expect. The bandwagon effect works against us and for you too - the years of being poop will have driven plenty of young (or inconstant) fans into your arms.
I'd say a 60-40 split in favour of Hull (the Hull FC rugby club rather than the city of Kingston Upon Hull, just to avoid any confusion) is about right.
