2005 we stayed in the student accomodation 5 mins walk from Cardiff town centre, absolutely spot on. That said we've done Cardiff we now need to crack Wembley!
Wembley was a great atmosphere in 2008 post match in the Sports Bar (see drinkypoos thread....... I feel another thread title change looming.....)

Staying at home. Train up from Sussex. Few beers on Wembley Way before game, then who knows where after. I suspect the good people of the little village in Sussex that I live in will know all about Hull FC should we win.

Yeah, we're bringing my six year old, so we'll probably be getting back to the hotel at a reasonable hour. I think the plan is to watch the game, go into London for a meal and a few drinks, then get back to the hotel before 21.00. Send the boy up to bed with his grandparents and a few more beverages for me and the missus. |
