If our pack consisted of O'Meley and Moa for the impact, and Pitts and Lynch for the minutes/pace I think it would work. A big issue for me is that we have O'Carroll tied to a long deal who doesn't fit in to either bracket, and is injured every other week, he has been a very poor signing IMO.

Definitely not at the beginning of the season.

Gentle brought in Pitts and wanted him to play prop, but surely he is far too small for a prop even if we go with a mobile prop. He's just not built for a prop. Now stick him in the backrow/lock and we have far too many again and that's not even with Manu staying.
Tickle
Ellis
Westy
Whiting
Kent
Pitts
Manu - if he stays
Aspinwall - Can't see them keeping him now.
Unless they bulk Pitts up in the off season.

“We will not accept a top eight finish as a barometer of supposed success at any point in the future whilst I am the owner of this club.
Thats why you got the Bullet Agar...Adam Pearson wants winners...not useless gits like you.

Guess there was some hope that we might have got 6th after our start, but losing to Rovers means we'll have to step up our game to keep up'"
We lost to salford and went 6 games unbeaten so can be done...this season has been better than most expected and 2013 and 2014 is when we will challenge.

I'm not convinced in him t the moment. Seems I get really up for it in the warm ups and can do some good stints, but other times isn't very effective.
I wouldn't go as far as saying he was ordinary, but yesterday wasn't the best I've seen of him.

| Good result for us with Hudds losing. All the more irritating we threw 2 points away.

| The bigger picture for me is that we will end this weekend in the top 6. Only 3 teams have dropped fewer points. Given that 1 of our big signings hasn't played at all, 1 went home in April and we've had some bad luck with injuries that's not so bad.
We were really unlucky in the 2nd half yesterday. Martin getting injured when turning to gather the short kick off, meaning Rovers got the ball; 'that' forward pass; a wicked bounce for the 2nd 40-20. But we should have finished the game off and we didn't.
I'm still optimistic about this season, particularly with O'Meley, Yeaman, Whiting and hopefully Heremaia to be available.
