Wrong again, I prefer to go and boo and call for the manager's head. It's called being proactive.

In answer to Uncle Junior, as the quote function doesn't seem to work.
1. I was commenting on their style of play, not something I'd want to see Hull FC emulate, 2nd in the league of not!
2. Confidence is a very important thing in sport. Teams get into a habit of winning, they also get into a habit of loosing, we are in the latter unfortunately.
3. We have seen our last 2 coaches sacked because they have allegedly 'lost the dressing room'? The coaches have changed but has anything else really? We have been promised by Mr Agar that he will be having a good clear out. I'm prepared to see if this comes to fruition. The close season will be interesting in this regard.
Just as an after thought, who is really out there to replace him??

Fair enough, but I hardly think we are in a position to be getting snobbish about style of play when we are performing so poorly in the league.

We are in a habit of losing because of our coach.

John Kear won us the challenge cup and our first playoff game. Peter Sharp took us to a grand final and 4th in the league the year after. What's changed is we've got far worse.
Just as an after thought, who is really out there to replace him??
This argument really winds me up, most people are available for the right price. Even aside from that, I'd take Noble in a second (style of play not the best i agree but he's a proven winner). '"

Oh ok I won't then.
You don't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed but I will try and provide a bit of an insight for you. For some people (i.e. yourself), rugby is a basic thing where you turn up, drink beer, grunt a lot, sing songs and 'get behind the lads' whatever happens.
Others (i.e. me), have more analytical minds and through a desire to learn, have developed a deeper understanding of the workings of the game. Because of this we are able to understand what it takes to formulate a winning side, and, as in this case, be able to spot when things are going disastrously wrong. When you think like that it's quite hard to blindly cheer on the lads and just hope things get better, therefore you end up seeking ways (however futile) to try and improve the situation (in this case by seeking the removal of the coach). While this can be uncomfortable in the short-term, it is for the long-term good of the club.
I guess it's just about what you want out of the game

I am not being snobbish about their style of play. Huddersfield have done very well this season there is no doubt, but I still wouldn't want my team to play like that.
Although John Kear and Peter Sharp had some success, the accusation of loosing the dressing room was aimed at both coaches before they where sacked. I personally liked Peter Sharp very much, and I'm sure he would have liked the leeway Richard Agar has had this season. The club have decided to go down this road, and as I posted earlier I am prepared to give him a fair shot.

I agree that in principle I think it's great that the board have decided to give someone more time than they gave Kear and Sharp. I just find it frustrating that it happens to be Agar because nothing I see from him inspires any hope in me. Believe me though, if he clings on until next season and proves me wrong I'l be on here wolfing down humble pie and enjoying every mouthful!

tonight we looked awful and any desire to win the game seemed to , at least in the second half to be non existent .
we have shown we can do it , but only in games the playes can lift themselves for , derbys are easy to lift for , but i always said it would be this week that showed if we have turned a corner . we havent cause the same lack of passion showed through tonight .
the Anti Agar crew should take a look at the past 3 years , we blamed kear , we blamed sharpe , now we blame agar , whats the one thing that has remained constant (ish) ? the playing staff'"
Last week we played a team in nearly as poor form as us and almost got lucky. Tonight we played a team who are well drilled and well coached. That's the difference
The common denominator since mcrae left is that our coaches have got progressively worse

25852_1297892995.jpg You've stolen my washing
From out my back garden
You've tarmacked my driveway
Even though I said no
You've nicked my lead flashing
And weighed it in at the scrappy
Oh St Helen's tatters

Unlike some I've never come on here and slagged off the coach and players in particular.
On this occasion I feel it warrants comment as to the coaches thought process, when everyone can seewhat's been happening with Thormans confidence and general level of achievment on the field.

| For me we were beaten by a bigger faster and far more competent team and no embarrssment in that.
In the first 30 minutes we had 3/4 tries dissalowed, they made 3 subs so 3 BIG FORWARDS go off and 3 BIG FORWARDS come on, we sub and on comes Moa Burnett and Thorman.
I honestly felt the majority of the guys tried last night but we could not live with the power, very similar to the Warrington game. Our bench was to light and we still do not have half backs and a loose who can link together and create openinings.
I stood at the end and clapped the players who tried, not booing the couple of wastes.
Remember they had a full team and playing with confidence we are a make shift team with not luck and poor coaching.
