I agree a top coach could not turn us into world beaters, the squad is average and lacking in creative players.
BUT a better coach would be getting a few more wins, and if we were about 6th in the table, with the fans believing we could win a couple of play off games, I think we'd be happy with that after such a shocking 2008. Its the fact I woulden't put a bet on us beating anyone except Celtic in the playoffs that is the issue. And being out of the CC means we can't even look to a good cup run to cheer us up (again)
we have lost a lot of games by a few points this season, a better coach who was better at just one aspect of coaching (such as interchanges for example) would have got us some wins from those situations.
