Sing.................his last season was his best (for us ) |

They have set out a plan of the squad that they wanted and have executed it almost to the letter through, on the whole, very astute recruitment. They take the pi$$ out of us at every opportunity...Cooke, Briscoe, Dobson etc..
In the meantime we have gone from an established top four side with realistic aspirations of being the very best in the country to a less than mediocre side that nobody wants to watch while KH and JR sit back in the luxury offices counting their money.
Kear, Sharpe and now Agar have consistently taken us further and further backwards to the point were we are no longer a force in SL, we have zero chance of any success and we are a very poor second even when it comes to our city's bragging rights.
Can it get any worse ???
BTW through gritted teeth, I have to say credit to our sickly little neighbours because they ARE a good side and they've actually made it look pretty easy to put together a successful SL squad with limited resources. That's what happens when you have people at the top who actually care and prioritise on-the-field success rather than off it !!!'"

Good player but you're right, never fit. James Smailes said on Sportstalk (with the boycott many of you might not have heard this) that Dykes never took part in a full training session in his time at the club.
Also, he's voted in the latest Rugby League World as the tenth worst import EVER (add echo).
Bit harsh for someone who simply wasn't fit. |

Byrne... Unbelievable that we spent Briscoe's money on a guy with no size, no pace and no particular skills. Just ordinary/dependable in every department
Cusack...waste of a quota place, opposite of what we needed in a prop
Godwin...pathetic signing of a half decent player that we clearly didn't need
Tickle.... okay signing but wouldn't get into any of the top club's squads
Dykes... pathetic signing says everything about Peter Blunt
Sing....just pathetic, an old man with no pace, quota spot and big money.
Maiava... no need for words
Thanks Peter !! You did us proud !! In Hull and Manly you really fooked up two of the world's biggest clubs !! |

Indeed, he rarely even did much more than walk/talk thrugh plays, but he was a great character to have around.
