No one is blaming 'hally' for anything other than his own poor performances. And I've already addressed the whole 'armchair players' nonsense a couple of posts back.

Alan did fine at KR all those years ago, however he's not managed to impart his rugby-brain on to his son -not the coaching side of it anyway.
Richard, now it's down to your team, you got rid of lots; - so any injuries and we're knicking lads off the U20's which in turn depletes the U18's, so please keep to your word - you've failed to satisfy with results (on the field, but the rest of us cash-cows have kept the bank in the black thanks to the efforts of the shop manager and staff) so tell Kath Thanks, but I need help-get me a decent tutor!!!! grannyfan Cindy and cc to Mrs Hetherington
Have you been sniffing bleach?

Blame Hally threads
Fans are discussing players performance which is what this forum is for, unfortunately due to Halls performance he comes under a lot of scrutiny.
We are not armchair players or coaches, and it is not a case of who has and has not put on a pair of rugby boots in their lives...We happen to be the people who pay the players wages
Other players have and do come under scrutiny, Tansey, Radders, Cusack, Dowes, Berro....However Halls performance on Saturday was dire!!! again!

| He may not go out there to lose games for the team but he is playing a big part in it. I personally have not really had a go at any player because i can see what the players have been like when they first came to the club. Take Tansey as a prime example, came here looking a very good player, started the season well and now looks like a poor excuse for a full back.

It is not a witch-hunt at all, Hally has had many chances to prove himself at this level, I was sat in the stands in Saturday and believe me the team were poor and clueless, but Halls defence was the worst and he cost us tries!!
When we played Leeds he Senior put him in his pocket for the sheer fun of it and Craig started to run around waving his arms, bouncing off players. He is a professional rugby league player who performs in front of thousands of fans (his choice!), if he is unable to deliver the goods he will come in for flack. Other players are missing tackles but it is not in the same league as Hally at the moment.
Oh and he appears not to go out there to win games for his team either.

You keep saying this, but where's the evidence? He's been playing on the right fringe; teams tend to attack predominantly down their left and the opponents right; the right centre and winger invariably see the majority of the traffic. When he played on the left the other week I don't recall more attacks than usual going down that channel.

Observation is the evidence, Senior had a field day with him (2 weeks on the bounce), as did Quins on Saturday. I do not for the life of me understand why we have moved Whiting from centre his defence is far superior to Halls. I would have swapped Hall with Whiting as Hall is faster for the wing position any way.

You seem to have more of an interest in this than your average fan. Is Hall a mate of yours? The only reason there seems to be more negativity surrounding Hall than anyone else is because his performances are consistently poorer than anyone else's. These threads don't just crop up by accident or because people dislike the player on a personal level. See the 'Thorman' threads from last year.

Senior and Ryan Hall are possibly Leeds most potent attacking weapons. They would have been used heavily regardless of who we had playing at right centre. The fact that Craig Hall was outclassed isn't an indicator that he's being targeted - it's an indicator of his poor form.

I have commented about Horney on the Horney thread , he was poor.
I thought Yeamo tried in defence overall in the game, not his best game admittedly but if you are suggesting he was as poor as Hall then you are talking pants..

To add to that also Senior has made many top centres in SL look average previously.

You maybe right, it just appears that way right now.
I still think we should use Whiting in the centre or even Turner as they both have better defensive games..As poor as Halls form is if Calders or Lynne are not available I would put him on the wing as his speed is an asset and hopefully he can work on improving his game.
