| No idea why we even bother replying to rovers trolls, think the only one who actually tries to be constructive is Mild Rover.
Saying Asiata has been poor since he’s come back. was the reason leigh dominated us in the periods he was on the pitch.
the way he moves the ball, passes at the line and even offers a solid short kicking game is something we've not had in a long while. i dont think there is 13 in SL who can do it like him. just a risk with his age.
our recruitment so far has being steady. improves us but very little wow factor. i think the club need to be brave. do we look at a winger & 10 from RU.
harvey barron has made me eat my words last few weeks, his defense looks much improved but i do think we need another experienced head on wing. a number 10 from RU would be a risk but doesnt count on the cap and limited half options in aus.
last two quota spots hinge on whether we go from battling out for bottom 3 or for play off spot IMO. cust im still not sure on but when wigan signed him from aus i thought they had a steal so hopefully he comes good

| Opacic would be a funny one, i do think he is a good player but it just isn't the eye-catching signing we crave, should we sign him it's vital a barnstorming SR comes through the door too.

He’ll be 30 and hardly torn any trees up at rovers. Would be far from impressed.

FWIW, if we are going down the route of signing 30+ year old centres id rather us go for Lafai for 1/2 years

If we sign him it'll be a statement signing alright. The statement will be is the investment as significant as we first thought.
If we can afford Lam on marquee wages then surely we should have more ambition than signing the likes of Opacic as well. I'd rather keep Carlos he is a better player.
I haven't seen anywhere where we have been linked with Opacic so I hope it's just idle gossip.
As most of us have stated the last two quota signings have to be high quality otherwise the recruitment as a whole will be very underwhelming and they'll be a number of fans having second thoughts about renewing their passes.

Or Leutele if he doesn't get a new deal.

Completely agree with all this, this is why the remaining recruitment is crucial, if the remaining signings are underwhelming I can see a lot of people walking away and not bothering with a pass.

Don't think it has anything to do with a lack of money or ambition. Players are simply finding other clubs more attractive options than Hull at the moment. Two ways of looking at that - either Myler isn't doing a good enough job or it's too tough of a sell atm.

Also agree with this. But that’s not going to sell passes for the club unfortunately.

What are you trying to say? The Bevan French deal is dead in the water?

We’d struggle to sign Ray French

Some good points….we are a hard sell atm due to being gash for the last 4/5 years and maybe that’s why we had to offer marquee to Asiata and 3 yr to Chamberlain and the other signings are ones that was left but will improve us (not hard to atm).As for Myler,I personally think that he has done a bloody good job seeing he inherited a absolute $hit show and was it you who mentioned how bad we was in the warm up game, the one signing that is iffy is Hardacker,I wouldn’t have touched him but if he stays out of bother off the pitch and produces it on it then il eat humble pie.

Hull is always a tough sell at the best of times. It's out on a limb and is hardly the most glamorous of cities. Throw in our current plight and it's going to near impossible to attract quality players without paying massively over the odds.
