Nothing from me when this topic originally surfaced. I think it must have been a case of "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

I have certainly moved on from that philosophy if the conversation I had with my mother after yesterdays game is anything to go by.

I think it has gone beyond blaming Agar . It is the playing squad who are letting the Club down.

It is both.

With which whom lays the responsibility?

I hate the "it's the players' fault" type comments. If there is a problem with a child, it's the fault of the parents for not bringing them up right. Same with the coach. Difference is, a coach can pick and choose his players.

Whilst I agree that the coach should be accountable for the performance of his players, the players do have to accept responsibility for their missed tackles, poorly executed kicking/passing etc. They are not playing well and while that may be down in large part to poor coaching, it must in some part be their own fault too.
