| Cowboys have dropped Townsend and chosen Clifford this week, be very surprised if he doesn't get another deal there.

| Right... so with an eye on 2025 and us back to the drawing bpoard with regards to a new halfback, who is everyones ideal "Realistic" last 2 or 3 players to bring in? I think we all agree we need a strike centre, a fast paced runjing halfback and maybe a domestic prop? Heres mine...
Jayden Sullivan (Would tear defences to pieces over here and would be first time since Kelly we had a halfback with a killer step and pace to burn)
Dela Hoeter (Off contract at Brisbane and will know Cartwright, a real strike centre who played in the grand final last year)
Sam Eseh/King Vuniyawa (I liked the look of King in the short time he played for us and same with Eseh, thought he did well Sunday)

We will go with Trueman, Cust and Abdul, we won’t sign anyone of any note.

Sullivan would kill it here if his attitude is correct. Bit of a concern of his defence, but attacking wise, could be magic.
Would prefer Eseh over King, but cannot see Wigan releasing him without giving him a chance there first.
Hoeter is 30, with not much NRL experience. Not who I would be targetting

If we waste a quota spot on King, I'm joining the negative gang.

Trueman has signed for Wakefield (worst kept secret) He wont be here, so what makes you think especially when we have just thrown THAT amount of money at Lam , that we wont sign anyone of note?

I was under the impression that was if Lam came in, his agent has been shopping him around allegedly but whether anyone will take him with his current wages and injuries is a different matter.

I'd still back us to sign a spine player and Trueman to leave

| I do think we will sign another spine player, if there the same calibre of Lam/Sailor is a different question.

| Myler has said the club are nearly there with recruitment so hopefully they've had other options going and not putting all their eggs in the Lam basket. If it is Sullivan I'll reserve judgement, he could go really well with Abdull, lots of pace and a dangerous runner and having Cust and Charles covering will give us decent depth.

| I still think we will bring in another 3 players.
Obvs 2 will be overseas having the 2 spaces available.
Myler did say in a recent interview that, yes we have made Lam an offer, but he isn't the only player we are looking at.
