| Quote: Roam Ranger "Impressed with Thirkill. Seems a genuine, down to earth, RL fan and not getting carried away with expectations. Think he'll be a cool head and not rush things.
Kudos to the other members of the panel too and was pleased that AP was acknowledged for his time and part in achieving the Wembley wins which will be forever be his lasting legacy.'"
I was impressed with his RL knowledge the floodlit cup in the 1980s is very deep mastermind specialist topic stuff not something he'd just revised to try and please us.

| Liked it when he called Moy an excitement machine and how he has physically bulked up. Looking forward to see how he's progressed next season under a more professional set up. Got his teeth done as well.

| I really enjoyed the whole forum discussion and the ways that all panelist’s talked through the questions. For Adam, I could almost hear the relief in his voice as he now knows he can walk away from several years of personal challenges. RM was spot on with his points and Cartwright showed a no-nonsense approach and a ‘right bloke’ to have as a coach. The new owner appeared honest and a real RL man with real commitment. Wow! Just bloody Wow. Really looking forward to the future of my club again.

| Great news for you guys I think we didn't actually expect a full takeover but it was needed.
For now the 'investment' goes straight into Pearson's pocket but no doubt that wouldn't have happened if the new owners didn't have plans for actual further investment and they clearly have the means.
They have pretty much said that they will be taking wages out of the club after 3 years but not before. And there will definitely NOT be a new stadium so you are still at the mercy of your landlords Hull City.
So you have 3 years to catch up with Rovers. But Rovers are not standing still and look out for news in the new year which will guarantee the growth of the club for generations to come - with or without benefactors.
Update.....season ticket sales Hull FC 6k Hull KR 9k.

Floodlit final was 18th December 1979 which was my birthday and the first game I can remember attending. The only things I can recall are Dennison's try and it being absolutely packed out. Halcyon days.

I wonder why you appear to be so concerned then?

| Fair comment from Pearson about Saturday games. Personally I much prefer them to Friday night games. I get that a lot will be of the opposite opinion though.
Questions were pretty good tonight apart from the woman plugging her travel firm.

For me pro's and con's are:
Friday nights: pro's: looks good under the lights, people make a night of it and have a drink, corporate's prefer it (but are businesses still spending money on boxes?)
Cons: away fans don't want to battle the M62 so don't come, Hull is a car park from 3pm on Friday, up against other SL games and football on TV (so less points for the IMG spreadsheet) colder in winter!
Saturdays/Sundays: more away fans, more people are off work so might go. Warmer in winter!
Cons: short turnaround if the next game is Thurs/Friday, can have a quiet vibe if the game isn't a big one.
I've heard the SMC prefer Saturdays as they can use some of the same staff who work at City.

She certainly seized the moment. Glossy brochures handed out and 10% discount on all bookings I'll bet.
Always read the small print folks. Baggage is never included

Who actually owns the land that is being developed for low cost housing?

| Really exciting time for Hull FC - patience is needed as there's a lot of rebuilding to be done over the next couple of years but hopefully come 2027 the club can get right back in the mix.
If I had been at the forum I would have asked about the lack of pace in the new spine that has been assembled which I think could be a big limitation for Hull next year.

I actually think getting 2 half backs on the pitch every game is more important to us than pace. We're not going to challenge the top 6, we just need to be competitive every week
