Just like the good old days then. Good natured banter! (You know, the days when FC got under a 1000 fans to matches!)

Good attempt at sledging but you have to get your facts correct. It was Huyton and at least 10,000 people were in the recorded crowd of under 1,000!

| Alot of people from both sides on here wont remember this game as it was both pre Super league for both and Pre shiny stadium for them. But i remember having to go watch Rovers beat Hull at boothferry park (Something to do with the amazing Boulevard not able to stage a game) in a nothing game for which we sold our allocation, to watch a game from a view which could only be best described as at pitch level, and by that i mean my eyes were at the same level of the grass.
Man i struggled to climb up onto that field when psycho scored in the last minute.

Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated: |
|
| I agree with the Hull posters that feel sorry/angry/aggrieved that only 600 odd tickets of their allocation has been sold plus whatever they have bought in the golf stand. Either way its a shame and embarrasment to the club. And despite Mrs Barista's blinkered views it will show the supporters of Hull in a poor light on television. Credit to the faithfull who have shown they back their team in any kind of weather. At least they can sing Old faithfull with the knowledge that they are faithful.

| Was an amazing day wasnt it.
The point im trying to get at though is that SOME FC fans seem to forget that boulevard was not all that great (Hence playing at another venue).
And i am deadly serious about some fans not remembering, god some FC fans forget that in their first Super League year their average was something like just below 6000.
I dont see however this has made all these pages, I as a KR fan could not care less how many tickets FC have sold as the East and West will be full of Rovers fans so its no odds to me if they cut their own noses off.
I have never and mean never gone to a game and paid because its a nice stadium in fact i cant even tell you how much it is to get into any away ground (and ive been to them all) as i just pay because thats what you do as a fan.
I just hope that everyone goes and enjoys themselves.

| I'm not going.
I've been to New Craven Park in the past (before Rovers where in Super League) and didn't find it a particulary enjoyable experience.
I choose not to go because I don't want to give my money to a chairman who's raison d'etre is to get one over Hull FC at every possible opportunity.
I made my decision when listening to him crow during the Cooke saga.
For those that do attend, they are ripped off financially and given a shocking view of the pitch. He's treating us like dirt.

Wrong Fletcher there mate, it was Mike who soared like a salmon to take that kick, right in front of me.
Happy days!
